Emma

Emma graduated from the British School of Osteopathy (now University College of Osteopathy) in 1988.  Emma is registered to practice with The General Osteopathic Council (Registration No. 1393) and is a member of The Institute of Osteopathy.

Emma has been practising osteopathy in Hassocks for 20 years after leaving Twickenham, where she had set up her first practice.

Emma now works from her home clinic in Hassocks and other established clinics in Hove and Portslade.

Emma has a wide range of interests including paddle boarding, tennis, going to the gym and dog walking.

As part of an osteopath’s continuing professional development (CPD) obligation Emma undertakes at least 30 hours of CPD annually.  For example, she recently attended a course in London on treating shoulder pain.

Relatively long treatment sessions allows for an unhurried considered approach to patients combining soft tissue massage, articulation and manipulation.

With this approach Emma can treat the underlying cause of your back, neck or shoulder pain, hip pain, tension headache (and various other conditions) by correcting imbalances in the body and addressing other factors such as posture and occupational strains.

Reviews
